I am PhD candidate in mathematics at Stony Brook University, advised by Evita Nestoridi. My research focuses on random walks on the symmetric group, with connections to representation theory and mixing times. Previously, I got my Masters from EPFL in Switzerland and my BA from Amirkabir University in Iran. Outside of research, I enjoy puzzles, rock climbing, and spending time with my pet Guinea Pig, Peanut.
